The Internet we experience today is much different than it was five years ago. For this reason, ResNet at Illinois State requires each student using the service to download and install McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise and Network Associates' ePolicy Orchestrator before being allowed full access to the network and Internet. ResNet users who own a Macintosh are required to download and install McAfee Virex.
ResNet subscribers are also required to keep these software packages installed and updated throughout the academic year.
